The ACAT platform, Little Helper 4, was presented to the participants of the 3rd IFToMM Symposium on Mechanism Design for Robotics which have been held between 02 June, 2015 and 04 June, 2015 in the premises of Aalborg University.
The RTD work in ACAT was showcased at DIRA (Danish Industrial Robot Association) roadshow, to show how future human-robot interaction and collaboration with advanced robot systems can be achieved by non-robot experts and shop floor workers. A major focus in DIRA was on simple automation solutions that can be implemented without requiring massive investment, increasing productivity and being profitable right down to small batch production.
The Ocean Sampling Day (OSD) took place on June 21st, 2014.
